Engaging in conversation – learning from and with each other

Developing new knowledge and new skills in a team often leads to surprising insights. In workshops and seminars it is essential to ensure that participants learn not only with each other but also from each other. That is why an interactive approach is always the core element for all activities. This allows teams to try out new experiences on the spot and integrate them into their daily work.

In working with groups, I draw on my extensive wealth of experience and combine different subject areas, competencies, methods and focal points in an interdisciplinary manner.

As an executive trainer, facilitator, speaker and lecturer I have worked worldwide in countries such as Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Austria, Hungary, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey, Thailand, Morocco and the USA.

Combining experiences more effectively and making better use of them

A goal-oriented consulting process results from close and interactive cooperation. It is crucial that solutions arise from a self-reflection process of the individual or the respective group.

My role is to support this process with my methodological and moderation skills, but also to incorporate my own experience. Through the systematic and structured approach, a new image and action concept suddenly emerges from many individual pieces of the puzzle.

From theory to practice

Bringing plans and concepts to life is an exciting challenge that I willingly take on.

With my intercultural expertise, my excellent understanding of project processes and excellent organizational and communication skills, I have successfully accompanied international and global projects and management processes for over 25 years.

In addition to the classical project management methods according to IPMA or PMI, I am also familiar with agile methods to steer projects to a result-oriented course right from the start. My thematic expertise lies in stakeholder management, especially for internationally oriented projects.

Managing a company successfully is a daily challenge – and an even bigger challenge to develop it further in an international environment. Good foreign language skills of managers and employees alone are not sufficient for companies to survive and grow internationally.

The key to international success lies above all in understanding and dealing with cultural differences. Anyone who has learned to interpret foreign behavior correctly also reaches the highest level in an almost playful way: fluent communication across language and cultural borders. Even in difficult situations.

With many years of experience in Europe, Asia and the USA as well as a proven scope of experiences, I actively engage with you in an international business development process: explaining, advising, supporting. So that differences turn into productive diversity.

The Business Case Sustainability aims to secure the future competitiveness of the company and thereby generate significant added value for the company.

In doing so, new perspectives are integrated into corporate management and in particular in accordance with the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) approach in order to build up a new strategic successful position for the company. In the short term, an improved efficiency and cost structure can be achieved, intangible assets (intangibles) are gaining in importance and the long-term adaptability of the business model to new challenges is being strengthened.

I support you on your way to introduce value-oriented sustainability management, to integrate industry-related criteria according to the core business, to operate an extended risk management, to identify innovation potentials, to achieve compliance and to arrange a successful reporting.

Projects are usually defined as a complex endeavor characterized by the uniqueness of the implementation conditions in their entirety. Targets, time, financial, personnel or other limitations are highlighted. The distinction to other projects and the project-specific organization is emphasized, but rarely an emphasis is placed on the uniqueness of the overall context.

But especially the environment in which every project is embedded and the individual actors with whom it is in a constant mutual relationship become a field of tension and for most projects the decisive success factor or reason for failure.

We all know from experience that successful projects are those where critical actors are able to communicate effectively with one another or rather where stakeholders work with one another, where the benefits not only of the overall project for the organization but also for each individual were recognized and promoted, where a handling of political influence is managed and the so-called “hidden agendas” did not stand in the way of the project.

This has shaped me

Internationality runs like a red thread through my entire career: I grew up in France, lived and worked on three continents.

Since 1990 I have gained a broad spectrum of experience with large projects at renowned companies and organizations in Europe, Asia and the USA and have built up a global network of resources. I have worked for large corporations as well as medium-sized companies and have engaged with non-profit organizations and start-up companies.

I have developed into an expert in the field of corporate sustainability through the development of CO2 certificate trading at Deutsche Börse Group and was elected to the Supervisory Board of EEX European Energy Exchange AG in Leipzig in 2011.

My strengths lie in the combination of different topics and interdisciplinary work. In addition, I am characterized by my ability to communicate, my enjoyment of leadership, analytical thinking and a confident, independent judgement. My style is characterized by integrity, exchange and the ability to listen and reflect.

As an entrepreneur, I have the courage to keep breaking new ground.

I firmly believe that long-term success is not the result of further efficiency and process optimization, but of the ability to be innovative and adaptable in an uncertain future. Sustainability goals must become an integral part of corporate strategy.
